2016-07-15 04:37:29 Well, duhhhhhhhh. HOWEVER, the term 'fetish' is often loosely applied by lay people as any strong attraction or those other terms, such as many women having a 'shoe fetish.' They aren't usually requiring a new pair of heels to achieve orgasm (just requiring their boyfriend or husband to pay for them before HE does...)

2016-07-15 04:44:05 Right. Sexual fetishism is a bit different in that it pertains to certain body parts or physical actions. What you're describing is one of the other definitions. Someone could fetishize a lamp without the part about requiring orgasm.
The shoe thing is similar but distinguishable from feet. Shoes are inanimate objects. |
